It's all speculation, but for now the Vita is probably going to produce better graphics, especially since nearly all of its resources are dedicated to the task. I don't doubt, however, that something new is going to come out soon enough that will take the Vita's crown as the mobile graphics king. As the Vita is solely for gaming, though, I'm sure it'll produce much better games in terms of depth, as you said.
And by hardware I meant internals, should have used that word instead.
Hmm I don't get the Ipad 3 being slower in games due to pixel count..
I highly doubt games would run native resolution and be like ipad 2 res scaled up to ipad 3 screen.. Does that even take a lot of energy consumption?
IDK.. looking at Infinity Blade Dungeons I think the Ipad 3 could somewhat stand against VITA's graphics.
I'm guessing Modern Combat 4 would look better than Unit 13 xD
