Portal 2 system req (a 2011 game)

OS: Windows 7 / Vista / XP
Processor: 3.0 GHz P4, Dual Core 2.0 (or higher) or AMD64X2 (or higher)
Memory: 1GB XP / 2GB Vista
Hard Disk Space: At least 7.6 GB of Space
Video: Video card must be 128 MB or more and should be a DirectX 9-compatible with support for Pixel Shader 2.0b (ATI Radeon X800 or higher / NVIDIA GeForce 7600 or higher / Intel HD Graphics 2000 or higher).
Audio: DirectX 9.0c compatible

Their lower than MW3, I guess valve games are console ports too
The difference is Portal can get away with it because its not a generic borefest and realies more on the gameplay/puzzles to make it an interesting and enjoyable experience. Where as MW3 will be relying on dramatic explosions (which actually benefit from better graphics) and cutscenes to 'try' to make it interesting to 12 year olds. So making a comparison between the two is nearly as stupid as the MW story arc.

Was anyone really expecting different?
I wished the Xbox360 / PS3 where never ''born''

Now we play all these games with 2001 quality 512x512 textures.

If you ask me, all games needed a minimum of 2048x2048 textures + high poly models.

Portal 2 is exactly like Portal 1 except for the substances, which was two, yes two new features introduced into the game and all hail it. Seriously, MW3 has new maps, new pointstreaks, new single player, new spec ops, new guns, it seems to be doing everything al-right, so what's the beef?

BF3 is just a re skinned BF2 mashed into BC2, nothing new except for vehicles and guns, so what its a complete copy and not enjoyable now?

MW3 doesn't need to look like the greatest game ever and need two GTX 580s to max it out, or a quad core to be able to play it happily, not everybody (I mean a large, large amount of people) have high spec computers, sometimes they like to play games too, and that is what IW/Activision are targeting with the MINIMUM settings.

Open your mind a bit. The average video game player wants a console because they can play all their games on a system that costs $250, and not have to worry about the OS, hardware, drivers, etc...

Better graphics would be nice but most people would rather not pay for a high-end PC to get it.

LMAO! Look at those minimum specs... Bet i can run 10 instances of MW3 at highest settings using VMWARE.

Or if there was an x86 to ARM emulator then my smartphone would run it as well
