I heard somewhere that core temp reads a little different, something about the Tj. Max being set incorrectly with the Core 2 processors.

BTW, how's the foam mod on your 555's? I'm tempted to try the mod on my 558's.

I use Realtemp normally but I have used Coretemp in the past, both showed the same readings for me. With my old E6600 I did have to change the Tj max on coretemp though.
