can someone help me with rainmeter please?

Thread Starter
i just found out about this program, im trying to install new skins, ive done all the copy paste stuff, however, every single guide i find tells me to right click on the icon on the taskbar and click configs...

well, there is never an icon on the taskbar
and i cannot for the life of me find any sort of config folder, that actually lets me load something, for that matter i cannot find any configs menu or what ever it is telling me to find.

google gave me nothing but lame youtube videos of annoying music

Check task manager to make sure it's running and double check if the icon is present. Also check if Windows disabled icon visibility for Rainmeter (for whatever reason).

In the most recent version of Rainmeter, the "Config" menu was replaced with the GUI "Manage" interface.

Correct, you have to start each skin separately.

Normally if the skin doesn't show up it's because of the developer's bad coding.

If the skin shows up but it's abnormally sized you can edit the .ini file for the skin (Manage-->Edit Skin) and you can manually set the x and y size for each element in the skin. (It's a tedious process but what can you do)

It took me a while to get it going when I 1st started using it. I'd say just mess around with it. I just used the trial and error method and figured it out after a few minutes.
