I never experienced your problems and i have the same case, so i guess it depends on your hardware ;D

Sent you a PM mate, curious about the PSU upside down, I assumed doing this would impede the airflow causing air to bounce back into the PSU and potentially have major heating issues

I flipped my PSU around and the problem was fixed. Regarding your CD drive screw it in or use the tooless mounting hardware the case features

Am curious also about whether or not this is the right way. My fan faces upwards. Do not see this causing something vibrating with the door, but will give it a shot if downwards is the correct way to go.
as far as the 'toolless mounting hardware' was this an extra part, or just part of the case? I have it just using the case now, and it locks into place, but further back then everyone else's seems to sit (behind the screen).

3.25 bays are meant to be screwed with T3 screws of course, no idea on what you mean by "i have it just using the case".
And yeah, turn downside the PSU, that's how it's meant to be! smile.gif

thanks a bunch. as far as just in the case, the cd-rom drive just slid back and kind of locked into place, sitting about half an inch behind the little front mesh pieces, thought it was supposed to be like that at first. biggrin.gif

Just to note that I figured out my problem- the PSU was failing. I went and threw in a 850W Thermaltake and it was night and day. All fans were responding properly, etc. Drives were now being recognized, though I need to figure out where in the BIOS is it to shut them off so the pc doesn't try to boot from them.. sure its not hard..

Anyways- regarding the PSU being 'upsidedown', I have the fan facing up. I don't see any real difference here in temp changes, etc. In previous cases the PSU was always at the top as it was with the fan facing into the MB as it was... do you think this makes that much of a difference? If so, I guess I can always just turn it over..

Just noticing too that the front intake fan doesn't spin- LED's are on- dead motor?

Okay, so after several Paint app drawings, I am still not sure on which compression fittings I should buy. I'm trying to go for a straight tubing look, so I know a lot of 45 degree c.fitting will be bought. I want to get an idea on what you guys think would work best. Here is a picture of my rig at the moment. Btw, I am planning on buying 1/2id 3/4od tubing with ice dragon coolant, so don't let the white tubing and distilled water get to ya! rolleyes.gif

sweet setup R3apR !

If I had a thin rad up top I would be putting one on the back vent too...... im going to have to put a 140mm rad at the bottom and I'm scared its going to run temps for my thick rad at the top!

contemplating putting a rad on the outside of that fan of the top but i really hate to put anything outside of the case

what pump are you using? and which reservoir is that mate?
