Metro is about the only game you may not be able to max. Although, you could buy a relatively cheap Nvidia card for PhysX and that would help it out immensely. (I have a 9600GSO 96SP 768MB GDDR3 for sale for $45 shipped, it's slightly better than a GTS240).
Crysis you should have no issues with. With my old 5870, it could max Crysis all day long without a hiccup. Granted there might be a spot or two that you might
drop below 60 FPS, but this shouldn't be common at all.
As for the price drop, yep, most last gen hardware will drop like a rock.
