Cheap coolers

Thread Starter
Hey guys,

I wanted to put an air cool unit in my build. I have a RAM cooler, therefore I do not have much room to work with a crazy large one. Any suggestions? I was thinking one of the small Zalman ones or maybe even Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro r2, Cooler Master Hyper 212, or something kind of along those lines.

Any suggestions?

I have an AC Freezer Pro 7. It is limited in its cooling abilities and makes too much noise.

Zalmans are designed to be pretty. Their performance always disappoints.

CM 212+ with stock fan. Don't bother trying to upgrade it.

But best advice: save your money. Buy some low profile heatsinks for the two RAM sticks closest to your heatsink (at 1.65v you do not need that tall cr*p). Use a stock heatsink while you save up money for a Silver Arrow.
