Im looking at a MSI P45 and a DFI DK x48-t2rsb on ebay. There in my range of 40-50 dollars.

If he's sure he's going to run a Pentium D, and at stock, and never want more, sure, but both those things combined sort of defeat the purpose to do Crossfire in my opinion. A Pentium D will work as a placeholder, yes, but it will bottleneck a multi-GPU setup really bad, so I'd pass on that board. You want the option to overclock and/or at least look at something better later on.

Well I don't have to run both cards right away, If I decide to go farther up the intel tree, it would be nice to have a decent board that would support crossfire and core2duos or quads.
