LGA 775 Upgrade Question - Page 2

On the home page, scroll down, and you will find a plethora of topics, and subtopics to choose from. within those forums is always a New Thread button.

I'm sorry some of the folks on this site are less friendly.

As far as the ? goes. I just spent some money getting a lga775 quad core system up and going, albiet my secondary pc, I dont regret it. It will still handle most of the games out there at decent settings, especially with your 460Sli. If this setup has done fine so far, I say spend the $80, do a little upgrade, save the rest for Haswell. Just my $.02..

..although depending on your budget, a 1155 mobo, cpu, and ram can be had for maybe a couple $100 more, that will WAY outperform it. Haswell is what 2013 sometime? May be worth it to upgrade?

If you don't buy it, I will.
Been looking for Q9000 series to replace my 8400.
