I've always had bad experiences with noise with 355's. I just purchased a 655 because they're a lot quieter. I have heard good things about the 35X's too, though.

To be honest, if it was me, I'd go with the 655 just because of my past experience. 350-355-35X's are good for restrictive loops - I'd go with the 655 either way.

I don't have experience with the 355, but I have noticed that the 355+top looks to be a lot easier to mount because of its size over the 655. That being said, if this isnt a concern, go 655.

I also only have a 655. Had the rasa pump before that. Its great with its variable speed. It can run silent or you can crank it and it will really get the water flowing big time. I keep it at 3 out of 5. I put an xspc res/top on mine.

I've had bad experiences with both, its the luck of the draw i guess. Either one 655 or 355 with a top is fine though. I usually prefer the 355 with a top because it looks better to me and it's smaller and easier to mount.
