once your stable try playing some games, sometimes games can be unstable while stressing is fine. Not sure why, but that's just the way.

Best of luck smile.gif

Ok what voltage did you set for 56c? What temp is your house? Lot of factors in temps...imo your cooler is good, add a second fan to it for more stable peak temps maybe? Or save and swap in a corsair unit or asetek, thermaltake etc. liquid cooler with push pull fans. Also invest in some high quality thermal paste its not too expensive and helps with temps some as well. My suggestion would be find a sweet spot testing different voltages/clock speeds. Not every chip is the same of course, but I dont think you should run into any issues @3.8 ghz with reasonable volts on a 955, resonable to me being under the 1.55 cap Just take some time and experiment, im sure you will find a nice boost in just a bit of tweaking.

Lowered the CPU voltage from 1.4v to 1.35 and its running prime95 for 15 min and yet no crashes or test fails, and temps went from 57ºC to 55ºC
