Leopold FC200R is rubbish

I own a Das professional S Silent and have been very happy with it but decided to get a Leopold FC200R 10 keyless brown as I wanted a compact keyboard for gaming.

Most of the feedback on this site has been the Leopold tenkeyless is pretty good and many recommend it over the DAS keyboard.

Surprisingly there is literally no comparison between the two boards. The Das keyboard is night and day better then this cheap junk Leopold. Overall the board feels cheap and the spacebar is nearly unusable for gaming as there is so much play in it.

Has anyone else been disappointed with this board?

Probably Cherry or some other brand because the last I remember, Costar is not the OEM.

Leopold uses Cherry Stabilizer which make keycap swap as easy as peas but also changes the feel of the switch (mushier IMO).



I have a FC500R red and have not issue gaming on it.

CaptainBlame, try giving it some time. Switches have to be broken in.
Compare your DAS and Leopold side by side and you will immediately notice that the worn-in DAS feel much smoother and nicer.

I have a Leopold FC200R tenkeyless brown all i do is game and type on it and its totally fine maybe you got a busted stabilizer/brown switch?

Spreading FUD much?

The board is far from a "piece of junk" because you dislike the stabilizers.

Saying the spacebar is "nearly unusuable" is ridiculous. I, and many others, game perfectly fine with it.

I've used a filco m2 ninja w/ browns and a choc mini w/ browns, the filco was a slightly higher quality build imo.

Got a Leopold TKL w/ mx clears coming in the next few weeks. I'm sorta curious what I will think of it now.
