Why not get a 560 TI? It's cheaper than a 2GB 460(checked on amazon), you won't need the extra 1 GB of vram unless you got an eyefinity setup.

Wish I'd bought the 2gb models. That said, nothing wrong with my 1gb models at 1080p.

Just sucks to think "spend 1,000 on 30 inch monitor.. still going to need another ~500 for new GPU" and so the 27/30 inch monitor never gets purchased.

At 1366 x 768? You could get away with the 768mb model. You really won't need more than the 1gb. If you want to move up in res.. consider more VRAM.

Eh? On a 460 I wouldn't worry too much about it and just get the 1GB.

Best bang for your buck right now and down the line you can easily SLI them.

Don't think you really need the 2GB Vram atm

It's cheaper too.
Your monitor won't even need 2 GB vram.

Yeah.. but not for the cost increase over the 1gb 460. They can be had mighty cheap at the moment. Even more so if you consider used models.

And when you finally do get a higher res monitor, that 1gb of VRAM will become the limiting factor for many games, especially in the future.

I promise you 2 460s will be much, much faster than 1 560 ti.
