[Various] Steve Jobs Was Ready For "Thermonuclear War" With Google - Page 11

Reminds me of Pirates of Silicon Valley. When Jobs explodes at Gates about how Windows is a ripoff and Gates calms him down with a few lines.

IMO The real tragedy is that he didn't listen to his Dr's. Back when he was first diagnosed with cancer, he refused treatment and instead decided to cure his cancer using holistic medicine. When he finally wised up and realized the holistic approach was doing nothing for him, it was too late.

iDiot.

lol! that doesn't make him the face or evil just an arrogant douche. especially if he thinks that 40bn is at his disposal to play around with. I would not be happy to hear crap like this if i were a apple shareholder

He is evil because he tries to protect the property that was stolen from him?

So if I some one robs your house and you will do all you can to catch the criminal you are evil?

The apple haters on this forums never seize to amaze me...

Which OS had the whole drop-down notification first?
Symbian... Your point is?

Why does philanthropy make a good person? Apple is one of the best if not THE best companies in terms of customer service. He gave to his customers, no?

I'm sick of all of you people judging somebody based on what they gave back. Jobs worked damn hard for that money, he was a friggin' genius. Who cares what he does with it?

Jobs CREATED the markets that he created products in. The iPhone was revolutionary... Way better than any other smartphones at the time. The MacBook Air? Are you friggin' kidding me? I own one, the thing is beautiful. iPod? Same story.

I'm not a fanboy, but I appreciate innovation. The only thing you all can bicker about is how Jobs' ethics were questionable... Are you perfect? No! Christ, get off your high horse and stop acting high and mighty.

Shut up. You're not better than him or the rest of us because of what you've given.

Good point. I don't think it does. I don't agree with the rest of the post however.

Android wasnt any different than Jobs' entire career. I have respect for the company he helped build, but he was no saint. Im sorry he died, but the whole mystification of his life was certainly out of hand. I mean look at all the wonderful things that have come from "corporate theft" in the tech world. Without it we would still be paying 3 grand for single core desktops.

Because he preferred his passion over a illegitimate child he's evil? Only part about that, if it's true, is that he didn't give her money, but still we don't know the whole story since I tend to not believe everything the media spurts out.

Edit: Don't even bring up charities. Nobody has to give a cent to charities, it's your money and you do what you want with it.
