You can donate half a liver and survive. It will grow back, which is pretty miraculous. Or you can harvest it from the dead.

Meaning somebody that was waiting for a liver that would have lived longer than him didn't get one because he got it, not that it was taken from a living person.

No, he got paid $700 which he split evenly with Woz. Exactly 50/50. The $5k was not paid to them until after it was already sold and neither did Steve keep all of it.

Personal computer. You have it today because of him.

CD-ROMs in computers, firewire & usb in computers, fonts, Integrated graphics.

iPod and all the wannabe iPod killers.

iTunes single handily had a monopoly on the legal internet distribution of music during the time of Napster and Kazaa which is what has created all the spawns of other distributions and changed the view of selling music digitally for the recoding industry.

iOS or iOS clone smartphones.

Post-PC tablets.

I'm sure he didn't. I'm sure he had a wicked hookers and blow party.

Your video doesn't dispute the story of Jobs stealing from Woz, nor does it show any evidence that Jobs was a necessary component of Woz's success.

That's right, he didn't become CEO and force them to buy a "failing" NeXT. They wanted his OS so badly they paid $400 million for it. I wouldn't call that "a little" off.

Jobs still had some influence at Apple when he left. That influence grew stronger because an idiot was elected and that idiot made Jobs look good. Apple was deep in talks with the BeOS developers when Jobs (like I said unexpectedly) asked them to buy his company. The company had quit the hardware business (they bled hundreds of millions before Jobs decided drop hardware development). The problem, even at that time, was that the environment was one of mainframe, Windows, Mac, or go home. Jobs couldn't beat windows. He signed a deal with Sun and IBM, but Sun was more interested in their own OS Solaris with out incorporating Openstep and IBM was more interested in OS/360. Jobs' only two options were go Mac or go home. He put on his best suit and made an offer while counting on his close relations with the company to outweigh the superiority of BeOS.

Again, you're "a little" off claiming that NeXT was marginally profitable. They had one of the most advanced OSs at that time. Their networking alone was far ahead of anything else on the market. The company had a high valuation for such a young startup.

NeXT was solely (and marginally) profitable due to the deal with IBM.

COMPANY NEWS; NEXT COMPUTER REPORTS ITS FIRST ANNUAL PROFIT
Published: February 22, 1995

Next Computer Inc., the computer company created by the co-founder of Apple Computer Inc., Steven P. Jobs, said yesterday that it earned $1 million last year. Mr. Jobs said it was the first annual profit since the closely held company was founded in 1985. Next, a software developer based in Redwood City, Calif., said revenue for 1994 was $49.6 million, more than three times that of the previous year.
1 million was pocket change. When the IBM deal was over, NeXT was finished.

And, again, you're "a little" off. He created the company and hired an animator from Disney that was crucial in creating the wildly successful short films. They were working on eventually creating a fully featured film, which we now know as Toy Story. You like to claim that Pixar was already "successful" and already had the artists working when the reality is the exact opposite. Pixar was a failing company which hadn't done anything relevant in years. They were losing money and did not have any creative artists before Steve came along and hired artists like John Lasseter.

The company was owned by George Lucas and was a part of ILM, the most successful special effects company of the time (and even today). With Star Wars, ILM was a superstar. The Graphics Group didn't need creative artists because they were CG and the creative art was first made in another division of ILM and then implemented by The Graphic Group. The Graphic Group (later Pixar) was a failure as a hardware sales company. The group wanted to make feature-length movies, not sales (probably why they couldn't sell well). Jobs bought the company after seeing a demonstration of the now famous Pixar lamp. To say that the company would not have been successful under Lucas (even if they never made feature-length movies) is unfounded (IMHO).

You clearly have no understanding of why NeXT was bought. He didn't try to sell NeXT to Apple. It has nothing to do with salesmanship as there was never a meeting to try and sell NeXT. Apple wanted Steve back running Apple and they wanted his OS along with him.
