new motherboard not detecting the hd

hi guy i just bought a 78LMT-S2P after replacong the M68MT-S2P and when i plugged in the HDD(old one but the windows partition formatted ) now when i try installing windows it gives me a warning ''windows cannot be installed to Disk 0 portion 2 and when i click on show details the to says ''windows cannot be installed to this disk. The disk may fail soon.fi other hard disks are available, install windows to another location'' and this msg is shown in all the partition i select on my HDD i try turning on the SMART but nothinges seems to work
pls help guys

It seems like your hard drive is about to fail. Why would you want to to install your OS on it?
The only suggestion I have is to format the hard drive again.

i cant format thhe whole drive i have Important data on it and its showning smart failure any way to fic it extendly without booting into the OS
