Hasn't stopped them in the past . I don't think it will take much for rare-earth mines to be opened up in Australia once (if) the price starts going up. It'll be interesting to see how the rest of the world reacts to this.

In Western world mining, one has to account for the environment when mining. Also mining isn't just open-cast stuff like you think of when the public thinks of mining.

Already do. All countries governed by a central bank manipulate their currency to their advantage to benefit their economy. China and the US are ell known to do it on the world stage.

That is correct but only as of recent was there actual major news and headlines revolving the Senate Bill of manipulation of the USD in Currency Wars against China with China responding negatively. Actually all countries are not governed by a central bank. In reality they are governed indirectly by the Bretton Woods Institutions along with the London and Paris Clubs. Central Banks report if under SAL directly to their financiers/creditors in which could it could be the IMF/WB. In addition you are forgetting that all Central Banks are governed by the BIS which has representatives appointed not elected and has private ownership/stake.

China is also going to build their own space station... Another cold war in 10 years?
