if you can run windows 8 desktop on this then i'm getting one. easily a better choice than a netbook in the bang for your buck category.

Looks sweet.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=Dp6MZupUq78

It's supposed to be 8.3mm thick (without the Keyboard) If that is correct it will be the thinnest Tablet and have about 14.5 Hours of battery life (this must be with the keyboard)

Looks like i'm selling the "old" transformer.
On another side, the "old" transformer is beeing upgraded with the new Ice Cream Sandwich within a month or so.

EEK! Been wanting to get a Kal-el tablet! I know where my Christmas money is going too!

Off Topic: Does anybody feel like the Pad Slider was a waste? With this new and way better tab. coming out? Seems not worth getting one.

We'll be seeing 32 core tablets soon lol..

Anyways I think manufactures should focus a bit more on the battery lifetime. I want a tablet/laptop with +2 days of battery lifetime while being used and a phone with +2 weeks of battery lifetime while being under normal usage.

Wait so windows 8 on the tablet can't run normal applications for widows? What will it run a similar marketplace to what apple has? if so that sucks. I was contemplating getting a tablet with windows 8 because it looked like basically having an epic portable computer.

IMHO if windows 8 is a full version on the tablet then I see no real need for a laptop anymore unless you wish to do some portable gaming. That is probably just me tho.

2.3 really? Weak, I know its going to be a whole different interface anyways so I guess it doesn't matter.

Who knows when 4.0 will be on it though...

Big problem is that it won't be like a cheap Tablet, it will just be a Kindle Fire because I doubt it will have a unlocked bootloader.

Atoms and ulv nmobile chips will find themselves in tablets, as they currently are in several already, except currently they eat up way too much battery life. Intel's 22nm process can potentially go a great way to changing that.

The ULVs are already on tablets, the Series 7 slate is supposed to have a 7 hour battery life.
