Lol, I would just get another Ti.

It was hard getting my 560ti to 1000Mhz with less than 1.1v (stable at 1.12v), so yea Good luck. You should be happy with em poodles.

Hmmm, do I smell a free giveaway for Arkham City?

i sold the sparkle card to pay for one of these. I was shopping for a 570 or 580 but could not make up my mind and finally decided on these based on newegg reviews. I had to keep the purchase under 400 dollars grand total but I am feeling a tiny bit of buyer's remorse for not researching the cards outside of thier newegg reviews. I hope they play well together in SLI.
I cant find a single review online for this model, but I trust MSI.

why you didnt get 2xHD6870? bcuz it uses less energy
post #5 of 15
HD 6870 have less overclocking room compared to GTX 560.
Radeon HD 6870 does not support PhysX and 3D Vision.
GTX 560 is worth for the extra watts I think.

Wait, why did you not buy a second 560 Ti instead? I don't really understand...

PhysX doesn't give you anything worth mentioning in games. As for the 3D Vision Radeons have Eyefinity, HD3D and the iZ3D driver.

Not true at all. There are lots of games that are really improved with physx. I can't imagine playing Mafia 2, Batman AA, Cryostasis, etc. without it. Really helps immersion.

Bah, I was gonna be just fine getting a 6970, now I'm unsure since you said that. lol

the reason i didn't go with ATI is because I greatly enjoyed physx in mafia 2 with my 560 ti. I'm a performance per dollar kind of buyer/builder so i never ever let fanboyism contribute to my selection. my last pc was a amd/ati.

going SLI was a last minute decision today. I had been trying to buy the Zotac Amp! 580 but it was 429.99 shipped and my daily spending limit is 400. I need a GPU in 4 days for BF3 so i could not wait for funds to clear on paypal+ shipping times.

I was going to buy a 570 but my sparkle 560 Ti was a lousy overclocker and I really enjoy the overclocking process and it's rewards.

The ati cards did not include games I care about so again, nvidia is the better option. after my two 20 dollar mail in rebates (i purchased the two cards seperate one after the other with two different credit cards to make sure i get both MIRs.) and I can sell the second batman game for ~30-45 on ebay.

the ONLY thing I am worried about is the fact that I opted for this random MSI card instead of the ASUS Direct CUII to save about 20 dollars. I am already regretting that choice but since i paid for rush processing they shipped in about 20 minutes.

Just hoping they prove decent.

And finally the reason i didn't just get another 560 ti is because I would have needed to get another matching card and they run about 250$ and it's a crappy model. (i got it on a sale for 193$)

I have since sold it on ebay so I had to get something fast.

If I can get 1000mhz core on these 560s I will be VERY happy.
