Possible to Make "Previous Track" = "Start of Track" ?

Thread Starter
I searched the forums and Google but can't seem to find any info. Is there a way to change the previous track button so that it goes to the beginning of the track? I miss the old CD player days! Sometimes I want to start listening to the song again and it seems stupid to have to go back and then forward to do that.

Thanks.

I think it depends on the keyboard/software. I know on my Razer Lycosa with Winamp it performs how you want it to, where it goes to the beginning of the track.

Got Winamp.. wow, haven't used this since around 2002. The only option for the hotkey is rewind which still does previous track unless the key is held down then it'll rewind. Not really any better.

I guess I'll keep searching.

If you use Foobar2000 you can make any key perform whatever function you want.

Make a new hotkey for "play". When you press a play hotkey while the song is playing, it will skip to the beginning. I <3 Winamp!

Maybe Autohotkey could provide this functionality. I have used it to set some media controls, though I haven't done this.
