I am pretty sure he needs to download the mobile specific driver which the previews are not.

Its crashing BF3 on startup. Bad DX11 GPU call errors. Anticipate possibility that the 6990 having issues with a non-ref 6970 in Trifire. Back to 11.9 w/ CAP4 for now.

There is a problem on my system with RAGE not liking anything past 11.8 ... I can't run 11.9 or any 11.10 preview drivers for some reason. The game is absolutely unplayable. I'm stuck though because BF3 is out and these drivers are supposed to improve performance a bit so I might wait on finishing RAGE until a later time.

I dont' know why, but I'm having problems with battlefield 3 and every drivers I try. I know I have an old pc, but I play all setting lows, 20-25 fps (I know it seems extremely slow, but I find them at least good). I thought it was the beta only since it was the uncompleted version, but with the game it happens too.

My problem is, that suddenly my soldier dissappear from my screen, I can look back and see the arms and the weapons standing there. Not only my soldier dissapear, but every person on the game too. I can see my teammates name, and then magically they appear, but when it comes to enemy, I get the blur because someone is shooting at me, I look at the direction the shots are coming from, and see no one. Then I die and the person appear right in front of me!

I lowered resolution to (1024 x 768), all set to the lowest possible, installed the latest drivers, but still nothing. I don't know if it's my gpu, I plan to change it soon, but I read someone using the same gpu with a C2D and he played the beta at medium with 30+ fps.

if anyone had this problem and fixed it, can help me here please?

Your system is more then enough to play BF3. I would try to run at least Medium. Also i would make sure drivers are not in conflict. To eliminate most problems reinstall Windows and install latest drivers from AMD or wait for 10.10 Official to come out.

Teehee.

Meh, try driversweeper before a reformat, I always say.

Install DSweeper, manually uninstall the Catalyst Manager and CAP, reboot in Safe Mode, run Driver Sweeper to remove all AMD/ATI traces, reboot, and try installing the newer drivers.

But others, including myself, have reported issues with this driver.

No. Driver Sweeper and those programs cause major issues with AMD cards. You end up causing more problems than you fix. Uninstall. Install. Simple.

thanks for your replays guys, but I think I finally fixed it (well, at least the dissappearing are way less frequent).

in the "AMD Vision Engine Control Center" - gaming tab - 3d app. setting I unchecked all options there and the mipmapping was at high quality and I changed it to performance. after that I tried battlefield and I could play pretty good. I will try at med settings to see how it perform to me, but at least I can play now
