What card for my next upgrade?

I need some video card advice. *I am getting ready for BF3 and need to upgrade my video card (currently have a gtx285 which is just not going to cut it).

Other key things from my system are listed below, based on those, I want to see what type card you recommend (given the res I run at and potential CPU bottlenecks) I get, as well as specific model recommendations.

My system:
Mobo - Gigabyte GA-MA790X-UD4P 790X AMD
Cpu - AMD Phenom II x4 940 Black Edition 3.0Ghz (overclocked to 3.6Ghz)
Ram - 4 gb SDRAM DDR2 1066 PC2 8500 (overclocked to 1333) and will likely upgrade to 8 gb
Monitor - My monitor runs at 1650 x 1050

Regarding a specific card, I am looking at a GTX, and not looking to sli, so I am ok with a card that takes 3 slots. *I would prefer one that is relatively quiet (wife hates noise so I am trying to change some fans, power supply, etc.. for quieter components).

From a budget standpoint, I am actually open ended. *At first I was worried about 'bang for the buck' (ie - pay 50 bucks for , but I think my bottleneck (regarding bang for buck) will be the monitor resolution (I don't plan to upgrade monitor for a while).

Thanks much! *I appreciate the help.

I suggest a 560ti. Quiet, cool, uses little power. Very nice card. At that res and considering your CPU I think it would do perfectly. Can be had for 180 or so brand new if you catch a sale.

If you're looking for today's option equivalent of the GTX 285, the GTX 570 is a good option, the prices usually start at or around $300. For 1680x1050 (since you dont plan on upgrading monitor), the GTX 570 will easily put up with any games coming out with the next 2-3 years. People will say its overkill for 1680x1050 now, but I say it wont be overkill 2-3 years down the line, will it?

Other than that, the GTX 560 TI is the other option coming in at around $210-240 prices. I think the 2GB models start at about $250. If you can easily afford it, you might as well just go for the 2GB model as some games are already using more than 1GB, but for 1680x1050 that would just be for ease of mind I think more than anything I would think. But if you can afford the 2GB model without hassle, why not...they'll also have a better resell value with 2GB.
