Nvidia 570 GTX folding temperature (~84c)

I have ~84c on a Nvidia 570 GTX which is folding, isn't that awfully high?

The room is quite cold as well.

Perhaps I have to set a new fan speed profile? Any suggestions?

I'm new to nvidia, this card is for folding only

These cards can run a little hot. It could probably use a bit more intake air.

As for a custom fan profile i used evga precision as it gives a lot of customization when it comes to temp/ fan speed points.

I have been running my 560Ti at temps ranging from 80-90c almost non-stop for several months and have experienced no problems whatsoever. These cards are rated to run as hot as 110c so low to mid 80s should not be a problem.

Its Fine. The card will shut down if it is too hot. You could set a custom profile if it makes you feel more comfortable.

Turn the fan to 65%. Should drop down to the high 60's

I installed msi afterburner, since I use it with my Amd card, so I'm familiar with it. It has a user defined automatic fan controll, so I just make a curve for it to follow
