The best thing about the UD7 is the BIOS. It's stable. I have had two Crosshair V Formula motherboards, and am about to RMA for a third one because the BIOS is junk. You wouldn't believe the problems I had with it. Leave it at this: to boot from a perfectly serviceable Mushkin Chronos Deluxe SSD I have to have the Windows installation disk in the drive and have to let the message "Hit a key to boot from CD...." time out. Then the SSD will boot. Otherwise it tells me that the SSD has no operating system. When ASUS changed to a graphical interface for the BIOS using an object-oriented programming language, probably C++, they lost direct control of the I/O. The result is that in some sections of the BIOS, the SSD is recognized but it doesn't register the complete drive name, which is quite long, whereas in other sections of the BIOS - in routines that weren't included in the graphical interface, such as the screen you get when you hit F8 during POST, the SSD is correctly recognized. The Crosshair V Formula is ASUS' version of Windows Vista, a piece of junk masquerading as a motherboard. After two months suffering with that piece of garbage, I bought the UD7 and life has been good again.

P.S. Other people have reported similar problems with the Crosshair V Formula on other forums. If you have a chance to buy one, don't.

Ive gotta UD5 so I didn't vote, but just to add to the v droop issue, its the same on my board, volts seems to be up and down, but it never has hurt my OC. I think it just might be a bios issue with the readings or something because it really is a great board, and the UD7 is even better by just a little bit.

Had the rev 1.1 UD7 in my daily since Christmas, not a huge fan. Takes forever to post, not as good at the CHV at the top end, funky throttling issues at high clocks and the LLC controls are a joke.

Looks nice...
