i have a similar set up, use heatkiller rev. 3.0, i dont regret it. Also, if you want to fit a radiator into the top compartment, where the 200 mm fans go, stick with a black ice GTS 360 rad with high static pressure fans like gentle typhoons, that way, you get alot of cooling, and your radiator is tucked in nice and tidy.

i wouldve used the RX360 rad, but its its too thick (to compensate for low density fins).

also, if you have another gpu, add a 120mm rad inside the case where the exhaust fan is supposed to go, the exhaust port has holes for both a 140mm rad and a 120mm. Stick with a 120mm rad because you can fit a 120mm fan on there, there isnt much high static pressure 140mm fans.

With the tucked in 360 rad, you can have the 120mm rad on the inside, that way, everything will be inside the haf x. I had my 140mm rad outside with the tubes going through the grommet holes, but it looks weird, having all the components inside the case makes it look much better.

also, with that many fans blowing air out, i swapped my haf x side panel with a haf 932 one, that way i have 4 high CFM fans blowing in from the side plus the front 230mm one.. (unless you want negative pressure)

As for fittings you could look into bitspower compression fittings.

How many of those do i need (if i go with Andrews' setup)?

Also, is there any particular type of liquid you would recommend or are they all pretty much the same? And how much of it would I need to buy?

You will need two for every part of the loop.

2x for RAD
2x for CPU block
2x for reservoir/pump
2x GPU block

As for liquid all you need is distilled water and kill coil. Nothing else.

That's a lot lol. you really only need like 2 meters, but you can never have enough if you mess up. I got 3 meters myself when I had my set up. I had a half a meter left over.

The EK kits aren't a bad place to start either. I just put one in my 932 and it's great. Comes with good parts and everything else you need, fittings and all. I'm running the sig in my link and it'll cool down my 570 to 40C under full load.

Ok, also i can't seem to find 7/16 Primochill with 1/2" barbs on the Specialtech website. There are 7/16 tubes but not Primochill, although they do have Primochill but in different sizes, im a little confused lol.

Also, do i need to buy the barbs AND the compression fittings? if so im guessing i need the same amount of barbs as i do fittings yes?

No. You need barbs or compression fittings. Not both.

Ahh cool, which would be my best choice Bitspower Compression Fittings Or Barbs?

Also, Why does Andrew recommend 1/2 Barbs when all the parts ive ordered are 1/4" Threads?
