Lemur's Beast Machine (1st WC Build)

Thread Starter

Wanted to get my Core i7 to 4ghz so I figured I'd jump into watercooling. I got the XSPC Rasa 750 RS240 kit. Here is the short and sweet of my old reliable NZXT Tempest case "mod".

Well I forgot to take pics of what it looked like before, but here is a stock photo:

I cut a hole for the CPU power cord:

Cut the front grills out for better airflow:

Mount the rad:

I originally had fans on the front top and bottom with Res in the middle but changed later to fans on the bottom 2 bays:

When I installed the mobo and cpu block I found there was not enough clearance for the stock fan so I had to put a slim fan on the rear of the rad:

Everything is ready for the leak test:

Upon leak test I discovered the crappiness of the XSPC pump:

New MCP655 pump and Alphacool Bay Res installed:

Its alive:

The blue led's on the front panel burned out so I replaced them with some spare red ones I had laying around:

THE END
