Ridiculously low resolution, right? http://fraps.com/ We look forward to hearing back from you.

You would see a decent difference if you overclock that bad boy to 4.4GHz, just buy a new cooler for it. Would be a big chunk cheaper than a new GPU too !

Battlefield 3 is a GPU bottlenecked game; overclocking his CPU will add nothing to performance.

It seems the cooler master 212 is a popular choice for my cpu, would you recommend that?

Your going to be GPU bottlenecked with BF3, not your processor. (Not that it's a bad idea to bump your CPU up a bit )

Fair enough, although just in general, having a SB processor and not overclocking it is a sin

I just got a 460 for $100 and another one for $134 a few weeks ago. Same website. Such a sweet deal!

i never believe the internet on these things
Lol it's a shame you have to run such a nice monitor @ 800x600 to play Battlefield 3 on ultra. Maybe you should put the settings on low so you can actually play at 1900x1200 huh?

This chart seems like complete rubbish?

With my rig, on the BF3 beta, with everything on ultra, 2x AA, 8x AF, HBAO, 1920x1080 it was always 45-65fps.

My friend has a similar rig just with a GTX460 768mb and at 1920x1080 with everything on high, 0x AA, 4x AF, no HBAO he gets 35-45fps.

HD5870 is faster than a HD6950?

That chart is off man.

Buying an SLI mobo and a second 460 would still be cheaper than a 580.

...By a long shot.
