At this point, screen/phone tech is getting to the point that humans can't detect the differences so therefore I stopped caring.

If you are A. Bad with phones/can't seem to figure out how to use smartphones or B. Just want a phone that works, Buy an iPhone. If you like to tweak things or what customization to make your daily tasks optimized, Buy Android. If you want to be a bitter person and hate the decisions you make, Buy Windows Phone 7. If you are the guy who dropped his iPhone 4 from 10 inches and shattered the screen, Buy a Nextel contractor phone.
iPhone 4 Screen is so dense you cant see the pixels. Compare to 3GS is a big improvement. The downside is that its in such a small screen.

Comparatively speaking the iPhone's screen is small, but its display makes up for it tenfold. I was goofing around with a bunch of Android phones in Best Buy with the larger screens. Physically, I feel the phones are simply too big. My thumb can't cover the entire screen when holding the phone naturally. And I don't want something that large in my pocket, because when I slap a case on, it's getting even larger. I'm not exactly small either...I'm 6'3'' with large hands and pockets.

Everyone has their preference.
And the SGSIIs sAMOLED screen destroys the iPhones screen in colour reproduction, with barely noticeable pixels. (Yes, you can see them if you try, but that's only if you try.)

And how can you not cover the entire screen with your thumb? I can reach any point on the phone with my thumb quite easily, and I'm shorter than you, (6'1") not to mention, the thinness makes up for its size, it fits easily in my pocket and unlike the iPhone doesn't need a case nor screen protector. (I've dropped mine a few times on concrete, yet to even get a scratch)

But it is a preference, as you said.

I just recently bought the iPhone 4S, even if i didn't i wouldnt buy the galaxy nexus.
Less support, look at the android marketplace, and the iphones appstore, theres so many games to play, and apps to use on the iPhone.
Why are you people purposely buying something bad?

Heh the iPhone 4s, also out performs the galaxy nexus, just look at the benchmarks, you fanboys are ridiculous, your not buying an apple phone, just because its apple?.....wow
What benchmarks? The only really reliable ones are the Internet Java benchies, in which ICS is the first android OS to use both cores, besides HC. If you look at the the results the 4S is underperforming the Tegra2 chip, which is less powerful than OMAP chip in the Nexus.

Hmmm.

My girlfriend have had a Galaxy S since launch and she can use it properly, believe me she hasn't got any man-hands either.
Even when comparing the Galaxy S to a friends Iphone 4 I would go with the 'old pentile' over the Retina every day.

Myself been using the HTC HD and HTC Desire HD which is 4.3" over the past year.. And I would appreciate a larger screen. Probably gonna pick up the Galaxy Nexus when it's released over here. Recommended prices will be; 786,19 USD without contract or simlock where the iPhone 4S 16GB is 828,35 USD and the 64GB; 1 114,24 USD.

Ah yeah, I'm ~1.83cm high with medium large hands.
