Thread Starter
I am currently using a GTS 450 in my ststem below with a 650 watt power supply and i almost have enough cash for another one in SLI so my question is will 650 watts be enough to power 2 of these cards?

SLi 450's = Waste of Money and Time.

SLi 460's = The Real Deal Worth the Dime!

GTS450(192 CC) = 1/2 a GTX460(336)

If you really want to do SLi then sell that 450 and get two 560TI's or GTX460's instead.
But to answer your question, yes the PSU should be fine.

Your PSU can do it.

As for a SLI gts450, the can run pretty much anything you want but your still kinda limited as for futurproofing the thing. As soon as your going to ask these alot of texture and AA/AF on newer title, they are going to fall.

Very easily. Even 2 460s with an OC'd i5 only pulls ~430-450 watts from the wall.

And don't listen to the guy giving you a hard time - SLI 450s should be similar to a 470, and overclocked should be well beyond.

gts 450, when in sli can acheive a 90% performance boost. but, for bf3, save your money and sell that 450 and get a 560, and sli the 560 in the future

I'm inclined to agree. If your going to SLI the 450's, I highly suggest saving your money, selling your current one and snagging a 500 series card or even a 6000 series card.

I'd personally do that, maybe take a took a look at a 6950/560 Ti.

But on topic, yes, that PSU will be suffice.
