What's the temperature in your room? Does your case have a good amount of airflow?

Your computer isn't tucked into a small cubby within a desk drawer is it? You want to make sure your case has plenty of room to breathe

Ok ill try playing around with the HS, see if i can make it get in more snug and try 2 locks at a time.

My case is really cool, and everything else runs cool (like 30 degrees) everything besides the cpu, and the case is sitting on carpet, not in anything so its wide opened.

oh and about my ram, how someone said i have to have it in the 1 and 3 or 2 and 4 ports, whenever i do that , my pc wont turn on at all.

pretty sure sure he has the cooler mounted in correctly, OP check the push pins on the back of the mobo, make sure the look like in the pic below.

either u place the heatsink incorrectly or you have one hell of a bad Cpu
i suggest you redo your whole setup again take out the mobo everything and do things slowly now. watch some vids on how to apply,properly put a cpu in the socket etc and hopefully it goes well
