So no 4-way sli either...
And the heatsink on the vrm is bad, and so is the heatsink under the gpus. I know its a prototype and probably not the final product. But where are my 4-way sli/xfire slots?!

I don't have rams with tall heatspreaders. I can put a huge heatsink on this X79 board.

note the thin kaze fans though, not very good for performance. I don't know about air cooling it with anything bigger than that. you would need low clearance RAM to fit a NH-D14 there, and even then Idk.
I'm sorry, how did you figure out they are Kazes? redface.gif

what cpu heatsink is that? cant find it on CM's website.
The heatsink itself looks like Cooler Master Hyper 412 but the fans don't match the specs.

EDIT: Here's the link to Hyper 412 PWM Cooler Master product page

If you get ram with G-skill ripjaws sized heatspreaders, huge heatsinks like Noctua D14 should fit on X79 boards. Just install the ram first before installing the fan and/or heatsink.

I see they had to use slim fans to avoid conflict with the RAM :L
