Question on NB temperature

Thread Starter
Ever since I've installed my 2nd 6870, my Northbridge temperature has gone up to 60c when playing games. I notice that games bottleneck alot more. Is this a safe temperature, and what can I do to lower it. With only one graphics card my NB only reached about 50c. Thanks in advance.

60'C is more than safe and is pretty average for having a card right next to it giving heat.

All you can do is get a fan in there on the NB heatsink or more case air flow by adding stronger( or more) fans.

Yeah your Case in your sig rig the NZXT M59, not much airflow in that case,

Only 3 fans from the look of it, One intake, one outake, and then a side fan. Do you have any way to test the ambients in your case?
