Would be neat to have something like this but for CS: Source so maps can be made in real time redface.gif I'm sure there are plenty of technical limitations, but I can still dream!

Have you used Hammer? It's a a slow process at times when your map is near completion.
Unless we're talking about a separate engine from the Source SDK.

Especially when you have some sort of error that isn't simplified. Took me a long time to find out that the engine wasn't handling the lights on one of my maps properly, I had to delete every single one and carefully place them again for it to run properly.
