They'll be pretty pricey on release.. if you're looking for a new graphics card, the least you could do is wait until Black Friday and check out any deals then

its been said that in this round of releases that both ati and nvidia will be releasing the mainstream/mid range cards first. The high end cards will follow later. IMO, for those who are looking for 580ish performance i would expect this is what youll see in the release phase line up. For better than 580 performance youll still be waiting longer for that line of releases.

I was going to wait till the next card releases but then i heard they were coming next year and will only be the mainstream versions so i bought a 580. Glad i did as it is a fantastic increase in power over my 560ti.

it will be too late on the 24th. The key date is 12th get it, 12-12-2012
This will be like the millenium bug, 2000.
Everyone's computer got wiped out at the same time, except for mine. Oh wait it happened to, no one.

IMHO :GTX580 I like the lifetime warranty EVGA. I usually keep my video hardware longer than 3 years.
