If you have a twitter account, post this bad boy via Microsoft, or towards Xbox / Xbox Live. My brother actually suggested this to me when I was having trouble with another companies product / service. I aired my issues, how bad their customer service was, and literally in minutes got a response and the desired result. The one and only time I have used twitter.

Yeah Man! They did the same to me.. They bounced my account at the bank too. All Xbox owners should dispute the fact of having to call MS to cancel any account.
I should have the right to log in my account and simple cancel it or suspend it. But MS has to be Pricks about it and hide behind their TOS. You can't do crap about it and they no it.. As long as there are millions of retarded players out their sucking on a binky - allowing MS to get away with this, MS is surely gonna rake in extra revenue off the end users.
I told them when I called to cancel both accts and he did cancel them. Then I got hammered the following month. Isn't it Funny almost all the other games you can stop, cancel, or remove your CC or payment method, yet MS REQUIRES you to have a a Credit Card on file. Sure you can buy the cards at the store but you know what I will never buy another XBOX or any new products other then a operating system from them. Their products are like everything they make, Half-Ass and breaks, patch Jobs.. From MSDOS to current and in the future as well. Go Figure..
This is whats coming to all folks when the company lays down what terms they want us to meet. Are we not the customer? Are we a voice that fall on deaf ears? Sounds like American Democracy at work. Billion Dollar Companies control our Government not the citizens..

You post me when you find someone that brings a Class Action Suit against MS for this.. I'll be there!

thats why you never give your credit card to MS, always buy the prepaid cards with the code.

Once they have your card, its very very very VERY hard to get them to remove it, even if the card number was stolen etc.

One way to do it, go to the live website, then my payments. Then just change your expiration date and CCV number to some random date/ CCV number and when they try to charge your card, it will be invalid

My advice, you pick up the re-loadable card or prepaid card from Walmart, Walgreen and use it instead of official CC or Bank Debit. *thumb up*

This happened to us once.. Called up the bank and told them to block withdrawals by M$

Heck they were charging us quarterly even AFTER we called and told them we stopped using the account.

Yep, same happened here.

Auto renew + won't let you cancel unless you call.

Needless to say I won't be using Xbox Live ever again, MS are a bunch of crooked snakes.

This happened to me when I tried to cancel my monthly renewal. Chances are the idiot service rep you talked to never completed the request (just because they aren't Indian doesn't mean they aren't incompetent)

Call them up again and explain the situation. They'll give you your money back.

super weird same happend to me but i called and they were more than ahppy to refund it but it was only like 10 minutes past midnight that it got charged so it hadnt actually gone through my bank yet so they pretty much just cancelled the charge sorry to hear it didnt work for you
