also what do you mean by the new version? is it the one that was advertised on taobao as being a May refresh? lol because I have experienced premature letter fading on this so called May refresh. slightly miffed because I thought with POM keycaps and laser engraving (is it?) this would be a remote possibility. frown.gif

other than that the choc mini is great for me. wink.gif

I'm not sure about tab and backslash, but I know the backspace key is standard cause I have swapped that one out.

Not sure when it came out or what 'May refresh' means on Taobao. I haven't seen the new version 1st hand, I've just heard they have improved the keycaps to avoid fast fading. I know qtan said his stock is all the new version, but when I bought it from him they didn't have the new version yet.

the taobao "May refresh" (translated from chinese actually) just refers to the new iteration of the keyboard that came out in May. this should be the new version you were referring to since the refresh was mentioned on the official Noppoo site and all. and no, the fast fading is still there.... mad.gif

It is possible that even though the page said May refresh that you got one of the old ones. Noppoo didn't take back the old stock, so it's possible that you got a leftover old one. May not be the case, but just a thought.

Sounds like a positive to me.

This is the exact reason why I bought mine.

It's retarded to put macro keys on the left side of the keyboard that you cannot reach unless you either take your hand off WASD or your mouse. I love how the F keys have no gap and are alligned with the rest of the keyboard. It's perfect for keybind heavy games like MMOs since you could just rebind WASD to something more centered and reach large amount of keys with one hand.
