mITX CPU Coolers w/ RAM & PCI Clearance? - Page 2

The Big Shuriken only fit because the AMD board has the socket further away from the PCI-e slot than a z68 board.

I wonder how the spacing on the H55 board compares to the Z68. As I mentioned, a newegg reviewer confirmed the 100mm Shuriken as just barely working on a H55 mITX w/ 2 sticks of ripjaw and full GPU.

It's a gamble at this point, especially with the big model. Maybe Scythe has tried these out on the diff. boards.

the cooler that I used in my SG05 build was the Prolimatech Samuel 17. I moved the board and cooler to an SG07 and sold it to a friend recently though so I only have this one (terrible cellphone) pic of the clearance for ram.

Its a GIGABYTE GA-H55N-USB3 with Gskill ripjaws memory. It should work with your sticks since it really doesn't cover the ram slots at all. Also it is cooling a stock i7-860 well though I don't have the temps anymore.

The only problem will be finding someplace that still has the cooler. Hope this helps.

Mine is the 58mm one. Don't know if that is the big one or not
