1 most of them are locked down so no OC'ing
2 Don't really know should be in the Bios
3 Not sure what you mean, do you mean what it is or how do I find it?
4 Depends entirely up to the chip and how hot it gets, from my experience netbooks have pretty poor ventilation.
5 Check out Howardsforum or XDA for much better info on phone overclocks ( My Fascinate is up from 1.0 to 1.6 tongue.gif)

2.Impossible to oc with bios in netbooks.(most of them.)

WAITING FOR OTHER ANSWERS,HELP.
this is a difficult topic.. if you want to oc a netbook, i´d find first an example in the internet that works and then buy this model. look for setfsb or clockgen then a model that is beeing supported by one of theese programs. buying the netbook first and then looking for an oc example is the worst thing u can do if ya want a netbook overclocked.

i failed to oc my asus eeepc r105 because i did the same mistake like mentioned above..

I've seen a few people on Youtube jump off a building too. Doesn't mean I want too, or that it's safe. There's lots of dumb people on Youtube. If you want a faster netbook, it's called a laptop:p

You mite have better luck over in the laptop section.

1. I saw someone shoot their PC with a rifle on YouTube.................

2. Yeah there are no options to unlock on them they are usually very limited. so you would be stuck using software OC (setfsb) but the increase would not be enough for anything serious ie. Modern Games etc.

You would have more chance with a laptop and a "moded" bios, but still you would be limited by heat. (but much better than a netbook)

For netbooks better "RAM timings" would be the best tweak for speed. using memset or similar.

Bought 2gb ram,boosted with gma booster,cleaning pc,often defraging,haven't got toolbars etc.But i want play games without spending money on new PC,because if i 'll buy new pc i should spend over 10k $ dollars...Nec or apple monitor,intel i 7 ,8ghz+ etc...
So i tryed used setfsb ,but it pops out error about pll or somthing.Tryed used clockgen, but its broken can't anymore OC or something like that...Can you offer some games what i could play with netbook?Or it's possible for me to oc 2.0ghz ?Also any good oc software?
Btw,it's possible to upgrade GFX?Or something to make games run faster?

Look HERE it would seem most Acer Aspire ones are pll locked as well. (well most of them)
Quote:
Lookup the datasheet for SLGSP513V and see what config register reports if they have used Trusted Mode Enable locking to prevent software overclocking. You can use setfsb's Diagnosis window to read the config register status.

Looks like they have completely locked these systems down, so there is very little/no chance of an overclock.

As for games look at the forum HERE

It will error if you have the wrong PLL selected or you try to change any value because as they stated, "the pll is locked".

The GFX in any Netbook is fixed and so is not upgradable.
