Size tubing for these compression fittings ?

Thread Starter
I'm wondering what size tubing I should get for these fittings?

http://www.specialtech.co.uk/spshop/...pid-11243.html

Do I get 1/2 ID 5/8 OD as it says or should I be aiming for something a little smaller ?

Thanks

You've answered your own question. The only other size I could think of that could fit is 7/16x1/2 which I doubt any water cooling shop has immediately nor will it be practical to make a compressed seal.

Thanks for the help, I was just wondering because I'm a complete water noob and know that with barbs people tend to get smaller ID to get a tight fit.

With barbs you can you a couple of different tubing sizes, not with compressions.

If you're talking what's most common, probably 1/2-3/4, or 1/2-5/8.
