Here is what I am thinking... For EVERYTHING.

Cooler Master HAF 932
SAMSUNG 1TB 7200RPM
ASUS 23 Inch FULL HD W/ Speakers (Not planning to use the speakers)
EVGA SuperClocked 1536mb GeForce GTX 580
850w PSU
G.SKILL Ripjaws 8gb (2x4gb)
P8P67 DELUXE
2600k
Windows 7 Prefessional SP1 OEM (Yes, I know one install)
40GB SSD (Intel)
Water Cooled
g510 Logitech Keyboard
G9x Mouse

all for 2.1k
seems legit?
It's a good gaming rig

The SSD for OS and the HDD for installing stuff (games, data, progs, ...)

Is it the 3D 23" from ASUS?

RAM MHz? (it's not that important for a gaming rig though...)

Same MoBo, same Proc, Better Grahics Card (it's decent )

2.1k what? $/£/€

You'll be very happy anyway

Oh and welcome!

850W is too much for that (unless you plan to SLI gtx 580 later?
A good 650W would be enough. Here's a link to thread with recommended power supplies.
http://www.overclock.net/power-suppl...-supplies.html
And you can take 2500k instead of 2600k, they perform the same in games.

I know the PSU is too much, I was planning to SLI later, maybe when mine is considered "outdated" and I can throw another one in to ramp it the hell up.

The 2600k I am not changing, due to my father being the one who is buying the CPU because I helped him at a concert one day.

I see. Well, just one more thing then. What PSU brand? Corsair, Seasonic...?

Part list is good, although I would get a larger ssd.

Also, I always buy oem copies of windows and have reinstalled each several times as I have upgraded rigs, decided corruption required a fresh install, etc. If i misunderstood you my aplogies.

I suggest you to wait for next week, OCZ new SSD is coming up with near $1/GB price. They have up to 1000GB SSD. As matter or fact the 40GB SSD price I assume is around $80. About a $10-20 more you can get a 128GB SSD.

Just look out for it in the following weeks.
