GTS 250 Crysis 2

I understand that my videocard is not the best for new games, but I was wondering if there where any configs out there for the game like the original crysis that would give me better performance.

I am currently using something like that, but it does not seem to be making a difference.

If lowering the graphics cannot get the game to a playable level (make sure you restart the game after resetting them) you may want to OC your processor. What kind of GPU usage are you getting in Afterburner while running the game? If it's not running at 99% most of the time it may be indicative of a CPU BN, which OC'ing the cpu should help with. Most e8400's will do at least 3.6GHz pretty easily, even w/a stock cooler.

I can play Crysis pretty well on my laptop, which has an i5 2410 (running at 1.8GHz) and a GT540m (between a 9600GT and 8800GT in terms of perf) so I would really think it'd be possible get it to run pretty well on your rig.
