Looks like something used to amputate. I seen one for the first time when I had a cast taken off. Very similar to that tool.

I've heard that the tool they use to cut open casts does no damage to flesh so you couldn't cut someone with it even if you wanted to.
Not sure if it's true but if it is I'd love t know how that works.

P.S. I just read everything and oh boy am I impressed. You are 26 years old and you know how to use all these tools, that is so crazy. I look up to you man, I hope I'll be as skilled as you when I am your age (7 more years, looks like I've got plenty of time to learn thumb.gif)

Have you been doing this for a long time?

P.P.S. When all of this is over and the computer is finished you (or someone else) should put all your pictures and posts together, condensed, on like a blog because to read it like this on the forum takes hours!

Good Luck! biggrin.gif

lol yup that's it. its worth buying for modding, but blades are really expensive there isnt a point talking the dollar value as we all have different currencies so one replace blade for this is almost a 1/4 of what the tool cost me.

I've had tools as far back as I can remember, lol its takes ages to read. Imagine how many hours I've spent at this project? Even funny point how much mess I've made and cleaned, considering I typical clean 2-3 times a mod session.

It's a labor of love for me, I would not have life any different. I have thousands of pictures of things I've built that are not pc's. At a rough estimate I can crame up to 40 hours a week modding outside of normal work hours.

It helps being a night owl your body has become custom to 5-6 hours of sleep a night and can survive the 3-4 hours sleep nights once twice a week.

We all start off with no skills, I didn't wake up one day with all these hand skills . Getting back to that effort thing, its effort that makes you better. Attitude and effort work hand in hand, in time confidence enters the equation. Start small think big, work smart not hard kiddies.
