This is the problem I have with dremels, Yes when it comes to fine cutting they are okay, I can show you a couple of hand tools that will cut with more precession than any friction cutting tool.

http://miniatures.about.com/od/toolsforminiatures/ss/jewellerssaw.htm

Wide throat version for say cutting across a case.

http://wiki-smith.wikispaces.com/Jewelry+Saw

I'm going to do some research and fine where we can all buys these. I can't believe it's not a modders best friend. The intricate work you can cut with one of these is unbelievable.

Anyway back to my mod world, and hating dremels.

iLG1W.jpg

8:38pm start cut time,

WKX1w.jpg

8:47pm finish cutting, and I did stop for a quick leak.

8% disk wear, disk is worth around 2.80$ AU so you do the maths what that cut cost. A few cents.

Dremel Disk say 3.00$, now imagine how long this would have takin and how many disks later i would have been finished.

Funny that they are almost identical in material makeup

Dremel wheel 0.7mm

Grinder mega line disk, 1.03mm

Just some food for thought

Nope its not a new door, in a few hours i'll have a bucket load of updates. Yeah just a normal 5.25mm grinder 730watts. With the guard off.

I really wish I could hit the same brick walls that you hit.
I would probably be a million times more productive wink.gif

Looking good as always smile.gif

haha,

Very nice stainless mesh. I had to use a hydraulic press, this stuff is near impossible to bend by hand

Looks great! Are you concerned at all about the restrictive nature of that kind of mesh?
