This is my side project, this is something more of a curiosity project. The compressor is a 12v unit.
I've been playing around with this for quite sometime, before I started this project. This is what made me start this build.
This unit will be completely external and dis connectable, I'm going to custom fabricate a condenser. Pretty simply put Im going to have a coil within a coil. One coil for the gas one for a passing water thru. It will be a standalone unit as will my Computer build. I'll have external quick disconnects existing my case allowing to connect the refrigerated coil. One of my mates is a air con mechanic and we've come up with 5 designs on making a efficient Insulated glycol bath so to speak.
I'll use this unit for overclocking and benchmarking. I do plan upgrading my board/cpu/ram just want to wait to see whats around the corner. Just think as it using water to water cooling. I will keep you guys posted with this.
I do welcome flamming over this, Im not building my case around this I'm building both to meet in the middle. Software controlled thermo stats wink.gif . As I said this is something I've been toying with for awhile finding a suitable compressor was the hard part.

Getting ideas on how to make coils.

The compressor unit is 260mm x 150mm by 180mm H.
I'm going to continue my build as normal but here and there I will give updates. Im trying to source copper bends outside of Australia and working on fin designs which I will have cut with the appropriate computer aided machine. Then I will get busy making a heavily insulated fiberglass wrap around which the coils wil sit in. I have hours and hours experience with fiberglass and molding .

Also can't wait to see what (if anything) you're gonna build with these guys.

And with how the reservoirs are mounted now I guess you won't be using this anymore?
Crazy how you're adjusting your plans on the fly, you're a MAD MODDER.

No urgent need to answer this post if you don't feel like it, just keep on modding!

When i started this project I was trying to keep things simple because I know what I'm like. Then the case annoyed me and that's about the time the grinder came out.

I still have the tower somewhere :|

I need a decent black outline, Im considering branding my case with OCN

File planner, it's the best thing since sliced bread. I did'nt think it was going to weld so well even with a oil coated half broken welding rod, found i the tool box I found the wheel stud and spark plug socket.

New set of files and some new rods, going to make a set of these. Make straight line filling so easy.
