I recently brought AD700 and thought i would need a decent sound card too. As you can get that from my headphones choice i'm getting it primary for gaming (though i don't mind listening music for sometimes, actually i think i'm also spending a lot of my time listing it ), so i thought Titanium HD is the best choice for me. Or is it, for that price?
Also i was thinking about new pair of speakers. Guess if i'm getting that sound card i'll need some decent 2.1 setup. I'm using Logitech G51, not the best speakers ever but they decent. Do i need to get rid off them and can i actually get something better? My budget will be around ~300$ for it, +-. Please give some advices in various price brackets.
Wowzers! $190???

Try buying them off Amazon or Craigslist.

$300 budget...Hmm I would go for the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 THX Certified Computer Speakers. My cousin bought them and wow it blows my old 5.1 Logitech X-530.

M-Audio Studiophile AV40:
$128.99 on Amazon

Corsair SP2500
$224.99 on Amazon
$249.99 on Corsair website

You could also try going Book-shelve set up like:

Dayton Audio DTA-100a Class-T Digital Amplifier 50 WPC:
$99 On Amazon/Parts Express

Dayton Audio B652:
$29.90 on Parts Express
$39.50 on Amazon

I hope Ive helped you a bit :]

check the for sale threads here i think there was one for about 90 shipped or look around on google.

thats about all i can do to help you. check the stickies in this forum for headphones and other subsections for speaker set up.

speakers + receiver > any speaker system IMO but if you cant afford it i dont blame you there are plenty of 2.1 speakers out there with an aux in and line in.
