you wont be getting 4.0 on an x6 with a Hyper 212+

scrap that case and get better cooling!

edit* for some reason i thought this was an "im about to buy thread"

There are two ways to overclock your 1100t.

First by changing you CPU multiplier and voltage

The other way is by changing your system bus or base speed from 200mhz to something higher

Since this is your first time I suggest doing it the first way.

Hope this helps oh and ypu can also use amd overdrive to Overclock

The only thing you should have to change to get your 1100T up to 4GHz is the multiplier, and maybe a small voltage bump. I got my 1090T to 4.1GHz with only a slight bump in the voltage to 1.425, and it took me all of 10 minutes and was very anti-climactic. Pump the multiplier up to 20x and see if you can boot into Windows, run CPU-Z and stress test it for a few hours. If you can't get into Windows, try a small voltage bump, but do not go past 1.55v if you want to have an 1100T to work on tomorrow.

Rather than retype what I've posted before, you can read my post in another thread on the subject and be sure to read other posts in that thread as well.
http://www.overclock.net/amd-cpus/11...l#post15434155

BTW, be careful about how much CPU voltage you are using, 1.55v's on aircooling is simply too much and you will run into a thermal spiking problem when trying to boot. Normally these chips don't require much over 1.4v's to get 4.0GHz from them, about 1.42v's is about where you'd need it or maybe a touch more.

4ghz on 1100T is easy peasy man. depending on your md. move the multiplier up and adjust your vcore to 3.7 volts or maybe 1.4
