scrap that case and get better cooling!

I think your underrating the 212+ and exaggerating the heat put on the Thubans. I have done a few builds for others and got them to 4GHz and just threw one in my sig rig with the same configuration and hit 4GHz stable with no heat issues.

And to relate back to the topic, I have found with these chips that keeping the multiplier at 16.5 or give or take a half and kicking up the bus speed is the best way to get a solid overclock without using too much voltage.

We got the exact same setup, minus the gfx-card - could you post your OC settings so I could try them out man?

CPU Voltage is at 1.368V
Multiplier at 16.5
Bus Speed at 243
Northbridge at stock speed

My chip is taking substantially less voltage to get to 4 GHz than the ones i've dealt with in the past, don't be surprised if your takes more to get to 4 GHz.

And please don't expect these number to work directly for you, every chip is different, and same with the motherboards.

It is good practice to read up about overclocking and incrementally step your chip up when going for a goal and not randomly using someone else's numbers, but you can try it at your own risk.
