That 960t looks good. Nice price too.

What's the deal with its name anyway? Why is there only ONE Zosma processor? If anyone knows off the top of their head... I can always look it up.

I am not really planning on overclocking. I probably should have mentioned that too. If I do OC, it will be very lightly.

It's the only Thuban x4 AMD has released to my knowledge.

Then definitely go with the x4 955 over the 965, or 1055t.

Why though? Everyone tells me Thuban is faster than Deneb but... there is only one? I might be missing a bigger picture...

Ok so we've eliminated the 965 and the 1055T. What about the 955 vs. the Zosma? They are close in price.

The Zosma is only 4 dollars more and has 95W versus the 955's 125W.

The Zosma has a better memory controller and more l3 cache than the deneb cored x4's. But if you will never OC, then just get the cheapest one.

If you have the extra $20 go for it. If you're not trying to OC past 4.0ghz, don't bother.

The Zosma was originally available only as an OEM chip. AMD just recently released it as a retail chip, that's why there is only one retail chip available.

It's $20 more, 125 vs 105.

They both have 6MB l3 cache.
