Signups are now limited. This means you may sign up with a team, but you must use the team name of the team you wish to join (since I can't add new names once the event is underway). This also means to qualify for prizes, you must follow the "How do I win?" section below.

Welcome to the 2011 OCN Forum Folding War!

What?
"What's the Forum Folding War?", I hear you ask.
It's an event we held this time last year, and those of us involved had quite a lot of fun. Essentially, we've split the overclock.net forum up into separate Folding teams. So we have the Intel team, and the AMD team, as well as some fanclubs too (like the Taylor Swift team and the Invader Zim team).


When?
A weeklong event, from the 6th-13th of November. The event starts at 12pm EST/5pm GMT.
That gives you all enough time to get some clients set up, so if you've got any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Here is a list of the current teams and their threads. Take a look at whichever forum teams suits you best, and go ahead and sign up for them.

Each team has it's own Folding name. The team name only needs to be used:

1) If you don't have your own Folding name, and don't want one.
2) If you join a team during the FFW (since I can't add new names after that).


Prizes?
Group 1 will be randomly drawn for all active participants.
Group 2 will be randomly given out to the winning team.
Group 3 will be a random draw for all other participants. So even if you think your team won't win, there's still a chance to win prizes.

In short, members of the winning team are eligible for Groups 1 and 2, while members of the other teams are eligible for Groups 1 and 3.

Prizes in bold will only be awarded to participants who are active Folders (outside this event).

How do I win?
As long as you Fold one WU during the event, we will include you in the prize draw.
For those of you who use your team's Folding name and not your own, you will need to submit proof. To do this, you will need to submit a screenshot of:

• HFM with a WU at at least 50% completion, with your team name shown.
• The current time in UTC from time.gov. Must be taken during the event.
• Your OCN username in Notepad.
