Yeah they're gold. Not "bright" but definitely not dark. More of a bronze I'd say.

Side note, I "fixed" the stabilizer for the spacebar so that it no longer rattles. I put a super small piece of duct tape wrapped around the two plastic pieces under the space bar. It took a few attempts, having to remove little pieces of the tape. I originally had it on the metal stabilizer itself, but that seemed to make the key too muddy. Now it feels super solid, and doesn't rattle at all. biggrin.gif

Not too sure how long that'll hold up before the duct tape wears down over time but it's a good fix. I'll probably end up doing to the other stabilizers as well. Especially the left shift.

I just received my Choc Mini 30ish minutes ago. The legends are very very legible, unlike pictures of the older version key caps I've seen online. The placement/functionality of the home and end keys will take a while to get used to. The space bar definitely has a nasty rattle to it (I'll have to figure out how to fix it later).

With all that being said, I'm very pleased with the purchase. I love the small form factor and the layout F1-F12. The black switches are also infinitely quieter than the blue switches I had before.

Reds are silent. The problem occurs when you bottom out

you should either get some o-rings or teach yourself to not bottom out

Lol reds are going to be no louder than blacks, browns, clears, and quieter than blues. As stated, get o ring dampeners and a key cap puller. Wasd sells dampeners cheap.

This. It will be pretty hard not to bottom out reds because they are so light, but throw some o-rings on there and it will definitely quiet it down.
